Some Steelhead are around presently, but nothing major. A couple of weeks ago it was reeeel good. Now its one here and there. Having to work for them.
Todd and Tony had one of those memorable, classic, big number days on Metal Heads. Below are the ones we landed, with many more leaving us. (I wont go into number's) I was not expecting a day like today, but will happily take them any chance I get. If each of my guest's could have hooked into only 2-3 of these machines, I would have been very happy. For 3/4th's of the day there was no one with in eye sight? Hmmmm, was this a dream or could it be mid-week?
Noticed some new Steelhead in holding area's, that were not there recently. (Behind spawning Salmon) Also found a few in some transitional- resting spots. These fish were on the move. So we have both holding and transitional Steelhead that are making their way up river.
