was wondering fished the canal again tonight the birds were working the water right in front of me in the middle of canal and no matter what i did i would not reach them i want to know is there away to get out there inexspensive!!! what kind of rod set up should i have rod length,line ,reel, jig weight, ect!!! the weather was beautiful till i got there it turned into a monsoon wind rain birds were all over diving on the outgoing tide!!!
