I've had three squidders for many years, they are indestructable.

I've used them with mono, lead-core, braided and even wire.
Remember you can't use wire on a levelwind.....

Although I use them when i troll or bottom (cod) fish only.
If you want to cast you may have trouble.

I cannot cast a conventional

But some "good" fisherman can....
