In the early lead

From OTW email update:

May is rapidly coming to an end, and the weigh-in slips that are starting to come in are nothing less than impressive. Who's going to take the first set of keys that might start this year's new Toyota Tundra is still anyone's guess, but there's already some stiff competition. In the boat division we have John Riley from Mansfield, MA. He weighed in a whopping 51-pounder at Westport Marine in Westport, MA on May 22. Can John continue catching these quality fish? I don't know, but I can't wait to see his next weigh in. Keep up the good work.
The shore fishermen, not wanting to be outfished by the boaters, have been busy too. For starters, Craig Stockwell fishing for the Striped-Bass.com team weighed in a huge 40.86-pound fish at The Saltwater Edge in Middletown, RI on May 19. When you take into consideration the 1.3 multiplier for being a shore fish, it gives his team 53.11 points. Combine that with Tyler Rhoads' weigh-in of another shore striper weighing in at 35.2 pounds (45.76 points) at Captain Dons in Charlestown, RI, and it gives Striped-Bass.com the lead at 98.87 points. Close behind in second place is the RISAA team, also with two shore weigh-ins. Thomas Mcguire's 24.9-pounder (32.37 points) and Steve McKenna's 30-pounder (39 points) gives RISAA 71.37 points.
