I own four shimano 6500 BRs.

Two of them I have owned for quite a few years.

IMO they are work horses. I use them for chunking and live
lining. They can take a beating and salt soaking and are still fine.

If one ever dies, I'll buy another.

I have them all matched on ugly sticks.
