I subscribe to that same theory. And coincidence are not, each day that the SW honks, the fishing gets progressively worse. That's been my experience.
Today was a bust. I didn't fish but I spent a few hours this afternoon with many of the top guns and the consensus was, the fishing sucked. Yesterday, I had to be fishing at the only spot on the whole Canal where you didn't get a single shot at a breaking fish. Two poles either side of me, they creamed them

I was fishing next to IFGs dad, and every fish caught at that pole came on either a jig or a Ronz. Tony's friend had a nice one on a white jig. He released it without taking it out of the water, so I didn't get a real good look at it, but from what I could see, it looked in the 22-25 lb range.
