I think the Orvis store is in the Mashpee commons, not sure if it's still open but that's where it
was...there's also another one somewhere near the Quincy Market in Boston.
I think your best bet (when financially possible), is to buy 2 breathables. Every pair will eventually leak, and it will be in the middle of the season sometime. If you own 2 pair, you never go with-out. This way you can send the leaky pair back and never miss a beat. If your 2nd pair leaks while you're waiting for the 1st pair to return, you're just plain unlucky and should give up fishing all-together.
I have 1 pair of ORVIS and the 2nd pair LLBean.
No questions asked from either party on returns. I've actually driven up to the store in Boston and had them replaced on the spot with minimal questioning.
