It takes about 20 gallons just to come off full and when it shows half a tank it's well less than half. Every time I fill up I write down what the total is. It gives me piece of mind to know how many gallons are in my tank. Not that I push it, I just want to always be aware of fuel. If the weather kicks up it can be as important as oxygen. Remember 1/3 out, 1/3 back, 1/3 reserve.

Yup this is what I mean, my gauge works fine and I've never run out of fuel. But knowing that sweet spot is a good thing and comsumption. Some engine issues I have (hopefully soon to be fixed) my gal/hr has gone up. Four trips and my tank was near MT. Thats poor for my ficht. So it would be nice to keep track like you can. Maybe if I find a system for cheap $$$, but again, way up in the hundreds is kinda high. Tough to justify. Other thing is I love more TOYS on my boat. !!!!!!!
