I live about .5 mile from Spags and my sister has been one of the store managers there for the past 13 years. In fact, I was given Spags Berkley line machine when they did away with their fishing dept. last year. I bought most of my St. Croix's rods and Penn reels with my sisters huge discount. So Spags has been very good to me. Sad to see it go. But they are going to do something retail there in the future. I can't say but it won't be Building 19 related crap. More high end stuff. My sister and Spag's grandaughter (Laurie J. from all of the commercials) are going to run the new store. No more fishing stuff though. Sign of the times I guess.
