I would like to thank you all for your kind words, prayers, cards and phone calls. We buried my dad last week in Croatia in what was the biggest funeral procession that the town ever seen. For a man who strived to be nothing more than a good father and a great chef the send-off he received was quite remarkable. He obviously touched a lot of lives along the way.
Sincerely
Zeno Hromin
PS
After returning from JFK last night I received a welcome “gift” of a nastiest thunderstorm I have ever witnessed. There are more trees uprooted in my neighborhood that I could ever imagine in my worst nightmares. Many roofs have caved in, fireplaces chimneys destroyed and power line hanging on the lawn. Needless to say, we have no power or even an idea of where it will be restored. To those who sent me PM’s or emails, I have no way of responding at the moment as I am typing this on my neighbor’s laptop.
