Pound dogs are the best! I got my dog shep about 5 years ago. He had intestinal problems and had blood in his stool, had been passed around the shelters for 9+ months. Two months of meds and not being stressed in a shelter cleared it right up. I will never buy a dog from a breeder , when there are great dogs at the shelters in need of homes.
