I was fishing with my daughter last night and had a so so start. Misjudged the clearance under the bridge at the Plymouth breakwater and bumped up the bimini top.
No damage! Caught the first schoolie and handed off the rod to my daughter. After keeping her on the schoolies and some small blues I picked up a little 7' spinning rod setup with a 4" plastic minnow and landed a 38" 20lb(on the bathroom scale) after a lengthy battle with the drag. Biggest fish I have ever caught. I thought I was addicted before.... And the her reaction was priceless.
