Theoreticly, yes. But the actual "rivets" imbedded into the sole are quite larger than Korkers, so there is a large metal surface area exposed per stud (nickel sized) where it screws in. This also keeps them from tearing out easily. Also I dont know about getting dirt or sand lodged into the screw holes.
