Knowing that I can't aways catch the "fish of a lifetime" I made it a point (and I tell it to ANYONE that says "good luck") of saythe following: "If catch only one fish for the night, then I've been successful. "
Sure, I love when they are biting to beat the band, or during that October massacre time of year, but that isn't a requirement.
I like it better when someone I'm introducing to the sport does better than me. I love watching their expression when they understand why I am a fishaholic.
It's not just the chance to catch a monster, but the chance to get outside and relax (mentally) for a few hours.
