I think I may both of you beat on this one. I worked thanksgiving night. That day, my family and I ate turkey at my parents house. Of course I had several helping of my Mom's cooking. That night the paramedics cooked a turkey dinner for the firefighters. This is their way of thanking us for all the help carrying drunk slobs off the 3rd floor for them during the year.

I, of course, had several helpings. Later, after the chimney fire around midnight, I had another helping. I worked overtime the next day at the same station. We had leftover turkey with eggs for breakfast. We had hot turkey sandwiches for lunch. I snacked on leftover turkey that afternoon.

I worked that friday night on my regular shift. You guessed it ... I had leftover turkey for supper.

My wife made me a turkey to snack on for the weekend. She was on duty at the hospital. I had turkey for 5 meals over the weekend.

I missed having turkey monday. Tuesday I worked an overtime at a different station in west Plymouth. The boys cooked a nice big turkey for lunch. It was a bonus from a side job one of the guys works at. It became a busy day and we were only in the station long enough to pick at the bird. I still managed to eat a fair share.

I made it home late last night. For supper I had a turkey sandwich. Today. I reported for my regular shift. For lunch we had leftover turkey sandwiches.

We have a 15 lb bird defrosting today to cook for tomorrow's lunch.

I have probable eaten the equivelent of a 30 lb turkey in the last week. I'll still throw in my five bucks and join the boys for lunch tomorrow. Hope I don't have to climb any ladders soon.
