was wondering if anyone knew what is up with Callahan from the morning show

he dissapeared but I thought it may have been because he was losing his voice and maybe had an illness or something. the other day one of the shows said something about him getting a contract in nebraska, that seems like a bit much. anyone know why he hasn't been on the air?
