This time of year access is generally not much of a problem. As the residence restrictions tend to lax. The problem is that a lot of spots are not marked very well. Best bet would be to get a Road Atlas for the Cape and the Islands. That way you can see all the roads. Try finding a copy of "Reading The Water" by Post. With that book and an atlas you will do fine.
