I am totally shocked and deeply saddened with the news of the passing of a such a truly kind,generous wonderful man.

John always had such a great outlook and a great sense of humor. I can't believe this. My sincerest sympathy and condolences go to his wife and son and family and friends

I first met John back in 2000 I think at Weakapaug bait shop, he was there with his son and we all had a barbeque. I'll never forget catching my first bass on one of my own plugs with him, he knew so much about fishing and life also. I am a better person for knowing him. He will be sorely missed by the fishing community
