Like Slip the first time I met John was at the get together in 01. I fished next to him once or twice, and shot the breeze with him while taking a break. That was a great day. I really can't wrap my head around the fact that we'll never be able to do it again.
John had an amazing dry sense of humor and was just plain fun to be around.
