Although I didn't know the man, it's quite a legacy for the man when you see such an outpouring of support and memories.
In a way, it was like finding out that your favorite auther has passed. For me, it would be like Isaac Asimov. Although I never met the man, I've loved his work for years.
All I can say is that when my time should come, if I only receive a fraction as much remembrance and comaradarie, then I would truly have been blessed.
To paraphrase an old corny movie line:
"A person is not judged by how much he has love/cared about others but by those who have loved/cared about him."
I can only hope to leave as compelling a legacy as John Haberek's.
