Selling on eBay....Ok/Not Ok???

Ok folks,

We frequently see plugs and other items placed on ebay for sale. We also see some go for insane prices.

My question is simple.

What do you think of the practice of puttin items up on eBay for sale?

Is it Ok?... I mean, if the person wants to sell some stuff they have accumulated, then good for them. Isn't is "American" to get the best price for something you want to sell? Maybe they are selling off some rare or craved plugs in order to buy a VS (something I have been thinking of)? Maybe they just need the money or don't have the space. There are a lot of reasons a person might want to sell some gear and get max dollars.

Is it not Ok?...I mean, price gouging by certain brick and mortar stores is always frowned upon. You know, the shops in those certain locations that get top dollar over and above reasonable money because of where they are located or to whom they sell. Is there a difference between selling on eBay and what is done by these guys? Is it just wrong for some other reason??

I am really interested in your answers. Like I said, I have considered doing some selling and have been torn as to how I feel about it.
