There certainly are people who will snatch items off of classified listings that are a good deal then flip them on Ebay. You could certainly argue there's an ethical issue here, although perhaps it's a small one. Many post plugs for sale to help others out or just get their money back and pass along the wood without the markup. It is kind of sad to think that some people would love a Habs, but don't have a local shop and can't afford the markup online because of gouging
Also, the plug market on Ebay for some makers is downright odd. While I wouldn't say anybody has proven there's fraud about, it certainly does
look like shill bidding and price manipulation has happened for some of the in demand makers. At times it's been really absurd.
I'd sold some MAC's bought on my own on another board for well above (relative) retail with no regrets. They were mine and nobody was forced to pay what I was asking. What happened to them I can't say, but I do hope they're in a case or better yet being fished.
