Not evaluating the market.....evaluating the talent! The market wanted to give him between 55-60 million dollars over 4 years! He must really like it here......or he realized Fenway Park caters to his swing and style of hitting! It adds homers and rbi's to his stats!
Still....sweet contract and staying with a contender instead of toiling with an also-ran!
