I can easily cast across the outflow and it seems as if some others are familiar with this spot! The only issue with using storm or tsunami shads in the outflow itself is that I'm not sure if the lure is able to go down deep enough to reach the fish in some places, and it seems that many of the fish are quite small making me hesitant to use something greater then 5 inches. . .I'm certainly new at this, so what I just typed might not make any sense. I usually use shad bodies on the wider part of the outflow during the spring as I cast it into shallower water and retrieve it across the deeper channel that is cut. I'm typing "cocohoe" into google right now to figure out what it is. Thanks for all of those that responded!
