Thanks Backbeach. I never heard the term before. How did it come about? "white deer" seems a lot clearer.
My son knows someone that shot one in Pa. years ago. Unknown to this hunter, that deer was somewhat of a local celebrity and an "untouchable". Needless to say his death didn't go over very well. "Quick --- lets pack up and get out of Dodge City before the posse gets here!!!!
