It's worse that subliminal advertising, it's insulting to our intelligence. It also shows that they think that they've won their psycological war against the people. Pay attention, you'll see attacks every second that the idiot tube is on. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're lame.
An edit: The effectiveness of advertising is being shown today in defaults in credit cards and mortgages. They sell, sell, sell. you're less than human if you don't have one of these latest gizmos. It's expensive, so your friends and neighbors will be impressed, you know you will be. Borrow the money at outrageous interest rates. Your job gets replaced by an illegal or sent overseas and presto you're in default. Times millions of slobs just like yourself. Citibank got nutted today, by guess who-Citibank. Brace yourselves and watch out for snake oil salesmen.
