tested it today looks good...thanks to stan gibbs
..I ended up putting 2.5 inches of 3/8 tail weights....at 4.1oz it had 1.75 inchs of lead..so it should be really close the the real weight...it floats with 3 inches sticking out(ballpark) of the water
