One thing about the needlefish, the SuperStrikes sink, the Gibbs float, so if you are fishing over a very rocky area, you will get hung up a lot less with the Gibbs, whereas the Superstrikes ride lower and get hung up. But both work in different situations, but both are great plugs (don't know why, they just look like a stick being pulled thru the water).
