I ended up picking up the
Pioneer PRN 17-250 from Western Tool supply in Seekonk. 18" from center to center, solid and variable speed. $199.99 plus it has a rebate for a free bed extension.
Reason was I wanted 16" the 1220 fit the bill but after seeing it in action, price and a little thinking. I couldn't justify the extra $$ and the 17-250 had the extra features.
It's all standard with accessories so i don't need to buy a specific brand.
Read on-line it's the same as the red painted Turncrafter Pro that Penn State Industries offers... So i think i got an excellent deal...
