the old guard

i had the honor to fish w/ #^&#^&#^&#^&ie perry this week.99% of you have never heard the name . but if u fish for striped bass ,please listen up. #^&#^&#^&#^& lives in harwich sence 70s but more interesting is his dad leo perry . leo from the 40s to80s was a real sportsman living life and family mostly w/ gun or rod in hand making a living or a buck here and there ,but time findly caught up to him and leo is gone .. but i listoned to #^&#^&#^&#^& his son about leo and arnie lane ted willums and gadabout gatters frank wolner and all the early beach masters fishing from surf or small tin boats w/ all home made equiptment or when there was only a small group of beach buggies on the race in the 50s.#^&#^&#^&#^& is now 73yrs old and his brother bum is 71 the stories were endless ,he brought me back to a better time. a gifted life . i envey that time . pull a name from the past ,and they all knew leo perry and the boys . wherever the bass ran .... btw... #^&#^&#^&#^& and bum say the seals have alot to do w/ the fishing problems they eat too much and they $hit same amount out w/ parisites to f*ck up enveriment in surf.....he says they catch seals in the gill nets @ 300 ft..... thanks 4 your time ......dave...
