There are many helpful and smart people here, also some who are just smart asses. Yes there are many books available on the subject and I have read several, but sometimes I have a very basic question I would like to ask without being told by some that the information is already out there and to go find it. Overall this is a great forum and I will continue to visit here often.

I too am a newbe to posting but have been registered for 1 1/2 yrs. I must admit I am reluctant to post most often due to the "old" guard" sarcasm, which doesn't always come off as intended in text. Ths sight offers a wealth of info, and I suggest you search for answers to question first, before posting, to avoid issues with others, that are more often than not, tongue-in-cheek.
I suggest if you feel a reply or post may cause contention, you should sleep on your reply, or at least pause first. It's too easy to say or write things you may regret of feel were inappropriate later on.
My $0.02 anyway.
