SSX - don't throw a $3000 paint job on a $800 hull. Best thing you can do is to repair the small imperfections/cracks/whatever in the gel and with the rest do a serious wetsand and then compounding. You might get back 60-80% of your color and have done it for under $100-200 (for equipment) and some hours of work... Don't consider painting it your self. Like these guys have said and many others I've talked to, this stuf is no chit deadly
