Can i just use pait thinner or sand it off??

Rather not rent a sandblaster, How much are THEY to rent??

If this ends up costing over $400. then it's not going to happen.

all i need is Off-White Paint For Hull, Cheapest Color Paint for the "deck" , Primer, Sand Paper, new Roller, Foam Brush for the "rollNtip" some Marine Tex to fil in hairline cracks & Stress Cracks (if any)

How Much Money?

I looked this up but can't find what the total cost is, cause most estimates are on 25+ foot boats..

I heard you can use a certain type of special Car Paint (corvette probably) and paint the boat, and put a clear protectant over it. is this true? cheaper?
Is this OK for saltwater boats?

Do i need anti-fouling bottom paint ??
I trailer it..
The boat wont spend more then 1 day in the water, maybe i might beach it on Patience Island to camp one night out of the sumer...once. i know botom paint is Bucks, so can i get away without it as long as the boat isn't in more then a whole day?

Should i do this? i want to do what ever is best- yet easy on Cash...

tips....comments.....help

thanks alot,
Mike

I plan to have the boat in the water cruising around by May....and ready by late April.
