Get a 2/0 forged hook. Tie 20 bucktail hairs on with red thread. finish red head about 3/16 long. Whip end and coat 2 coats of head cement. That's a spring teaser. In fact , its a good teaser any time. Costs about 25 cents to make and can be made in 2 minutes.
Save these big flies pictured for later in the season. Too bad the little epoxy head one went flying. That would probably work this time of year.
