I don't recommend this as a do-it-yourselfer:
1) it is very toxic to inhale
2) you really need a spray booth.
3) it must be sprayed
4) A botched job would be a nightmare for fix.

Talk to a paintshop for $ details. (it aint cheap though...but get an estimate)

I think it is overkill for your boat...you will never get it back.

Fish don't seem to care what condition your boat is in. Just paint it with regular paint and put it in the water and go fishing. Boats are a pain in the butt when you start fixing them. It ALWAYS takes longer and ALWAYS costs more then you think it will to do a job...
