EELS are amazing things; i think it was here i read a story about a family haveing one the bath tub for years. and someone forgot about them in there basement for like 6mos came back and it was still healthy, cool storys...

are the eel buckets in water or sitting somewhere? the'll die in there own Muck- but if water is passing tru cleaning it out they should be fine

Hope you don't find a bucket full of eel eating crabs,
