Went skating on a fw pond yesterday...8+" thick, walked over to one of the salt ponds... 6" thick. A few boats iced in pretty good. Normally it is pretty mild here...woke up to 8 degrees. (was in VT over the weekend...how about -14! The next day it warmed up to +18 and it felt like a heat wave!)
Saw the weather channel...it could be worse, -58 deg F in Mongolia,
even if it warmed up 100 deg you would still need a jacket! (global warming my ass)
Thinking warm thoughts: I just made ferry res to bring over the new boat in april.
Spring will eventually come.
