I have a bunch of old 1.99 jigs. I was thinking of taking the rows of hooks off them and gluing them to some old freshwater rapalas or other minnow bodied lures. Then break off the lip. They'd look pretty close to the Yozuris. There is no "action" to the squid jigs so I think it would work......
