I was working the graveyard shift at a gas station while in college.

I worked like a dog for 15-18 hours straight that night and next day filling plows.

When someone finally came to relieve me, there was no way I could get home. (10 miles).

I hitched a ride with a guy with 4 WD. He could only get me within about 2 blocks of my parents house. Their house was only about 100 yards from the coast (quincy bay). That 1-2 block took me about 1/2 hour literally crawling over 8 foot drifts and falling down buried in snow. The wind was incredible,, driving snow into my face all the way.

Good thing I was young then !!!!!!!

I was near total exhaustion when I finally made it to the house.
I think I slept for 15 hours after that.

Had the rest of the week off from both work and school though.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
