You will need a heavy duty set up to pull those beasts. Guy who uses, made, those uses 400 to 500 feet of wire and a giant Penn, i read. Stick with the regular spoons, Lupo, etc.. Wire is the way to go. You can fine tune the boat speed by the rod, pumping , action. A nice long, soft, rod 7 to 10 foot will enhance the spoons action. Horizontal rod holders are also something to look into as it spreads the spoons apart and keeps them from tangling on turns. Nothing worse than binding 2 of those set ups together, I know. Great way to catch a big fish, but takes practice like anything.
