Stripers in Greece?

So I'm flipping through the channels and come across a 1957 movie with Sophia Loren -- I think it was titled Boy on a Dolphin -- which was about an American Archeologist searching for a gold statue of a boy on a dolphin. Sophia was a sponge diver.

The archeologist and Sophia hook up to go diving in search of the statue, as well as other things ... boy she was hot ...

... so when they are showing the two diving in Greecian waters, it was supposed to be the Aegean Sea ... and what swims by the two divers? A few schoolie stripers!

Obviously I think Sophia in a swimsuit was more of the draw for the movie more so than the accuracy of the fish species found along that cove in Greece. It was just too goofy to see stripers swimming around there.

I wound up watching it all the way through to ensure there were no more stripers showing up ... well that's not true, but there were enjoyable sights all the same.
