. I thought we weren't supposed to swear as this is a family friendly message board. John, in spiet of having Chia Pets the fall is actually the best time to seed, you end up with less weeds. I had about five big stumps pulled between November and now, so I have an unprecedented amount of raking and stone removal to do. I am even contemplating hydroseed, but I don't want to sell my house so the new owners can have nice grass. On second thoughts I'll just let the nice green moss grow, it requires a lot less maintenance.
