Wood is alot of work compared to the pellets.
Put a Vermont Casting gas stove in about 15 years ago and never looked back,
but gas is no bargain compared to wood or pellets.

200 would be cheap up here for wood this year. The guy I firewood from me told me wood would be 400 /cord this winter. I have a little over a cord left from last year and refuse to pay what they want this year. Once the wood is gone, no more fires in the fireplaces.
