Flap tail been there done that probaly the same spot. I was with two buddiesabout 5 years ago and it was raining no big deal start fishing out the bar as the tide drops. Bang bang lights everywhere my budies take off running I stay fishing and I am like babies. They kept yelling at me to get in I just ignored them as I was in my zone and did not want to leave. Then after about 10 minutes Icame back to reality and said hum NO THERE NOT BABIES THEY ARE SMART and I got back to land as fats as possible, needless to say we left in a hurry as The sky lit up like 4 th of july. NOT a good feeling
. I have alot more respect now for lighting and the water and lighting period. Glad you made it out alright.
