Steve - they are pretty good blanks and like mentioned above, similar to the old Sabre blanks. Keep in mind they are 2 inches short do the 1088 nine foot is really like 8'10". Dave "F18" has built a few. I've built a few but I don't have a spinner you could try. I may have a conventional you could try though if you are interested.

The 1087 is nice but a little light IMO on decent eels. The 1088 is perfect for eels and plugs. Its also a bit lighter than the 1088 AllStar.
