Sometime around twenty years ago I was framing a building here in VT. Grey overcast day but no rain or thunder. Had a small all terrain crane setup with probably 90' of stick, 6 guy on the walls and staging ready to set trusses. Lightning hit within 100 yds of us. You've never seen guys fly off a building like that, looked like quitting time in fast motion.
