Sorry Red, I didn't mean to burst your bubble. You will find that the bars between the headstock and tailstock are weak and will flex when putting the wood under pressure as you tighten the tailstock. that's crap #1
The motor may not last very long, crap #2.
The switch will probably burn out opn you, crap #3.

My neighbor has one and after seeing and using many lathes, I decided on getting a medium duty lathe that will hold up over time. For hobby stuff, a light duty lathe may be fine for you.
