redlite and hardbait, Sorry to hear of your misfortune and thanks everybody for there honest opinions and input. Without your input we could not develop the product we are noted for since 1952 and the Lamiglas XRA series for nearly two decades. We will never give up striving to make the best product we can, building fishing rods with the finest materials available, constructed to exacting standards. Our expectations of every rod are as high as those fishermen who fish with them. With some common sense and careful handling, your rod will last as long as you want it to. Some tips that will help> stay within the line rating, stay within the lure rating, proper angle when playing a fish, transporting your rod, proper storage, clean the blank after fishing, clean guides and reel seat. I am happy to see most of you continue to enjoy the excellent performance they have given you. I will repeat it again, Lamiglas and I will keep working hard developing a top notch product, so you can continue to fish with confidence.
