I thought the same thing until I went to the cape leg and attended TFCTFN. Also met a bunch of guys at 5/0's winter footbal bash too. Meeting people from a fishing web site seemed a bit strange, but most turned out to be real good people(except NIB)

Actually most of the people I've met were known by someone I already knew and introduced to me.
Its not like meeting some stranger in a dark alley for the first time by any means. Besides, a clean cut conservative gent like myself would never do that...
If you're thinking of showing up, go for it. Its a good time.
