I don't know if Saranac has musky, pike definitely, but that is a great area to fish from a yak. Less yahoos. You might want to reach out the ratdke(sp?) guy up in the Clayton/Alexandria Bay area of the 1000 Islands. He could help you up there. If you look at some of the older reports on Champlain, there are quite a few nice size musky caught in that otter creek area. You can launch close by(VT side) and you won't have an issue with all the jetskis, waterskiers, etc. I think there's otter and little otter. Take those plugs up to canada and shoot some insane video in the spring.
